What to Expect with Reiki

Reiki is a non invasive form of energy healing that supports the body physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually for the Highest good of the pet.  Reiki is intended to provide relaxation, reduce stress, promote overall health and well-being.  Reiki will flow to where it is most needed.  Some clients see results immediately, while others may need more than one session.  The Reiki practitioner channels energy from the Universal life force energy, we are not creating the energy and act as the conduit with the awareness that the energy will flow to the lowest point.  Sometimes outcomes can be quite unexpected but we always set the intention that the energy be sent where it is most needed for the Highest good of all.  At times the energy can cause symptoms to get worse before they get better.  Please provide your pets plenty of water and space to relax and integrate the energy after a session.

  • Reiki works for the highest good of the animal and that long- term imbalances may sometimes require multiple sessions in order to facilitate the level of relaxation needed by the body to heal itself. The person or animal receiving reiki directs the treatment and I respect their wishes, therefore session length and results vary per each session. Sessions are voluntary.  We can split the session in halves if needed or rescheduled, depending on situation.

  • Reiki IS NOT a replacement for traditional medical care or medicine.  Reiki practitioners do not diagnose conditions, prescribe veterinary or human medication, perform medical treatment of any kind or interfere with treatment of a licensed doctor, veterinarian or any other medical professionals.  However, energy healing work can be a great compliment to traditional medicine.

  • The safety and care of your animal is your responsibilty.  Distance sessions are less invasive for pets but you must let me know if treatment needs to cease for any reason.
